Nasceu em São Paulo, em 1968, graduada em Biblioteconomia e Documentação e pós graduada em Arteterapia. Se envolveu com fotografia em 1988. Sempre quis, mas nunca foi aceita por nenhum fotógrafo como assistente, por ser mulher, "pouco forte" e/ou "ter um filho pequeno". A partir dessas não possibilidades, criou seu próprio jeito de ver e fazer as coisas. Com esse histórico, a pesquisa e a construção de imagens sensíveis são o seu forte. Atualmente, tem um estúdio de fotografia especializado em gastronomia, se dedica ao desenvolvimento de seu trabalho autoral e desenvolve um movimento artístico com temáticas sobre imagem e alimentação.
Born in São Paulo, in 1968, she graduated in Librarianship and Documentation and post-graduated in Art Therapy. She got involved with photography in 1988. She always wanted to, but was never accepted by any photographer as an assistant, because she was a woman, "not very strong" and/or "had a small child". Based on this lack of possibilities, she created her own way of seeing and doing things. With this background, research and the construction of sensitive images are her strength. Currently, she has a photography studio specialized in gastronomy, dedicates herself to the development of her author' work, and develops an artistic movement with themes about image and food.
