É suíça e brasileira, nascida em Genebra. Cresceu e estudou fotografia na Suíça. Se mudou para o Brasil em 2015, com 24 anos. Desde então, seu interesse e paixão pelo fotojornalismo vem crescendo. Começou fotografando protestos no Rio de Janeiro, onde morou por dois anos e criou sua rede de contatos aos poucos. Depois de se mudar para São Paulo, conseguiu uma vaga como repórter fotográfica no jornal Folha de S.Paulo, onde trabalha desde 2019.
Matilde is Swiss and Brazilian, born in Geneva. Grew up and studied photography in Switzerland. Moved to Brazil in 2015, at the age of 24. Since then, her interest and passion for photojournalism have been growing. She started photographing protests in Rio de Janeiro, where she lived for two years, and slowly built her network. After moving to São Paulo, she got a position as a photojournalist at the newspaper Folha de S.Paulo, where she has been working since 2019.
